Happy Halloween to all y’all little ghouls and goblins.
We had about 100 or 120 kids tonight. Pretty good number, and they were honest-to-goodness trick-or-treaters, not lame-o teenagers dressed in ratty sneakers and a dirty hoodie groaning out a ‘murph’ for candy.
I do find it interesting that the whole night is named after the dead — all hallowed souls’ evening. A good reminder of mortality — and life.
