I saw HRM Queen Elizabeth II this morning. Not that I really expected to when I left the house for work, though.
Her Majesty dedicated a plaque a Her Park in Toronto and since it was close to work I jogged out for a look-see. I figured it may be the last time we’re graced with her presence here in this fair province, and unlikely I’d make it to her place, so it seemed logical.
Wonderful lady, a glowing inspiration of duty.
Unfortunately, I had only my phone with which to capture the moment. Thanks to the Photoshop mobile app for making this shot half decent.
(You can see her, just there, in the flower-patterned beige dress and the rose coloured hat. She’s the one waving beside the mountie in the blazing red serge.)
