501 Queen at Night

I really should do this more often. Riding the 501 Queen streetcar is something I do practically every day but really only in the morning; occasionally in the afternoon. Rarely in the evening or at night.

But here I am to tonight, Led Zeppelin in my ears, watching the night ride by with a crew of Lakeshore riders who’ve swapped their lattes for Mill Street Stock Ale. The clothes are tighter, the make up make-ier.

Parkdale seems just as lonely. I hope this stretch gets a bit of a shine on. Not in a gentrified way, but in a time-paid way — sooner or later it isn’t so bad to have some swank on the street.
